Unfortunately time and time again exhibitors are sent mail by dubious companies wanting to include them in so-called Trade Fair and Exhibitors’ Directories, such as FAIR GUIDE or, to take a more topical example, EXPO-GUIDE.  In most of the cases these are publishing companies who have not been authorised by the Trade Fair Organiser and who earn their money by charging for insertions in various directories after often giving the impression that their services are free of charge. The Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund GmbH would like to point out that there is no agreement with these publishing companies, even in cases where the Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund GmbH is explicitly named as organiser and host. The recipients are misled to believe that a co-operation exists with or authorisation has been given by the Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund GmbH where this is indeed not the case. Their data may easily have been copied from any generally accessible source (such as online or printed exhibitor directories or catalogues).
