After the great success of FA!R2008 in the Dortmund Depot, the Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund GmbH is now holding the next FA!R as part of a large project to promote fair trade in cooperation with the Eine Welt Netz NRW e.V. Other cooperation partners are the Agenda 21 office in Dortmund, the retailers’ association in Westphalian Münsterland as well as the Ministry for Generations, Family, Women and Integration in North Rhine-Westphalia. These competent partners mean the FA!R2011 will not only grow in size but also become more international and diverse.
Main topics
FA!R2011 is taking on the topic area “fashion and accessories” in a special exhibition. Here, you as an exhibitor can present the latest trends from the world of socially acceptable fashion. Even the physical well-being is taken care of: exhibitors in the “Gourmet World” present themselves with the traditional fair trade products, coffee, tea and chocolate. In the “cocktail” and coffee bars visitors can have a refreshing fair trade juice or coffee speciality. In a show cooking area the gourmet chefs demonstrate various culinary delights which can be made with fair trade products.
Manufacturers and retailers exhibit the latest trends in household items and services and handicrafts. Not forgetting the opportunity to be advised on the educational work of various organisations in the fair trade sector. The trade fair and the general programme present resellers i.e. retail businesses, action groups and fair trade shops as well as final customers with attractive offers!
Symposium
As a specialist audience, you learn about current developments and interesting background stories on fair trade, which are offered in the neighbouring conference room in Westfalenhallen trade fair. Despite the ambitious program, all participants have enough time to explore the trade fair in peace.
