Our hygiene concept

We are currently living in difficult times. The Corona pandemic is affecting everyone's private as well as professional lives. In order to offer you a perfect event experience even in this extraordinary time and at the same time to ensure compliance with the Corona regulations, we have developed a comprehensive hygiene concept together with the local authorities. We have already successfully held events at the Dortmund location with this concept in the fall of 2020.

As soon as details on opening strategies are published, the concept will be further developed accordingly based on the currently applicable measures and regulations and adapted to the latest standards.

TICKETS: Ticket sales are only conducted online.

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: Thanks to the online registration and the online tickets, we always have our numbers of visitors (currently 1 person on 7 sqm event area) in view and make sure that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can always be kept. Our security service will always keep an eye on the distribution of event participants and visitor flows and regulate them if necessary.

MOUTH-NOSE PROTECTION: For the protection of all participants, there is a general obligation to protect their mouths and noses during the days of the event - except at seats, e.g. at exhibition stands or in the catering trade. We provide mouth-nose protection for trade fair participants who do not have their own masks in the respective entrance area.

RESPONSIBILITY OF INDIVIDUALS: In order to protect the health of all participants, we draw attention at numerous points on the premises to the need to maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metres and to refrain from physical contact and shaking hands.

CONTACTLESS WAYS: We plan the entrance situation individually for each event and calculate the maximum possible number of people for each of our entrances. We also specify minimum distances in the waiting areas. All door systems (except sanitary facilities) remain permanently open to reduce contact with surfaces. Floor stickers on the circulation areas provide orientation to maintain the minimum distance of 1.50 metres.

AREA ENLARGEMENTS: If necessary, we will check and implement area enlargements for each event. For each event, we will determine the aisle widths and traffic areas so that the minimum distance of 1.5 metres can be maintained. In this way, we increase the space for visitors and exhibitors to move around and ensure the necessary safety distance.

GASTRONOMY: Our catering services comply with the statutory protection regulations. This includes measures such as contactless payment and enlarged consumption areas.

DISINFECTION: We have disinfectant dispensers available at all essential points on the grounds (entrance and sanitary areas).

CLEANING: Surfaces that are regularly touched (e.g. counters, tables, handrails, ATMs, door handles) on the premises are cleaned more intensively. Our sanitary facilities are cleaned in high frequency. Hand washing and disinfection facilities are provided at sufficient intervals.

VENTILATION OF EVENT HALLS: Our event halls are equipped with modern ventilation systems, which ensure a continuous exchange of air to reduce aerosols.

MEETING AND CONFERENCE ROOMS: For the protection of all participants we adjust the seating and the number of seats. In addition, we do not offer standing room and also establish separate entrances and exits where necessary.

TRADE FAIR STANDS: Unfortunately, we do not offer any events with party character at the stands during Corona times. Exhibitors keep disinfectants available at their stands to ensure regular disinfection of contact surfaces.

SANITARY SERVICE: A qualified medical service is available on site at all times.
