Direct connection through the B1 (A40) to the motorways A1 (Hansalinie), A45 (Sauerlandlinie), A2 (Berlin - Hannover - Dortmund - Oberhausen), A42 (Duisburg - Dortmund), B1 (A44) (Dortmund - Kassel).

Please follow the signs to Dortmund and follow our own signs on the motorways. Details can be found on the map below.

If you use a navigation system, please enter the destination address "Maurice-Vast-Str.". From the destination address, please follow the signs in the immediate vicinity.

Parking spaces in the immediate vicinity are available for approx. 8,800 cars and buses. The parking fee is 9.00 EUR per car on all parking areas.

For better orientation on the Westfalenhallen grounds, please use the hall plan (see below).

CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES

We have 2 electric charging points with a total of 4 charging possibilities in the immediate vicinity for all those arriving with an electric car.

Parking shuttle

The MesseExpress is used for JAGD & HUND, CREATIVA and INTERMODELLBAU.

With our MesseExpress you can travel free of charge and comfortably directly from the parking lot to the exhibition halls. 

Of course, you can also use this shuttle service after your visit to the fair to get from the exhibition halls back to your parking space. 

The first MesseExpress leaves 30 minutes before the start of the fair. It then runs every 10 minutes during the entire duration of the fair. MesseExpress runs its last round 15 minutes after the trade fair closes.

PARK & RIDE-PARKING SPACES

For a relaxed journey there are numerous Park & Ride parking spaces available in the city area, where you can park your car and change to public transport.


Environmental zone in Dortmund

The City of Dortmund introduced a new environmental zone on 01 January 2012. This covers large parts of the city area, including the Westfalenhallen site. You need an environmental sticker to enter this low emission zone. 


BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

With the underground line U 45 (direction Westfalenhallen) you can reach the station "Westfalenhallen" within 10 minutes from Dortmund main station.

From Dortmund City (subway stations Reinoldikirche or Stadtgarten) the U 46 (direction Westfalenhallen) will take you to the stop "Westfalenhallen" in about 5 minutes.

Alternatively, take the U 42 (direction Hombruch) to the stop "Theodor-Fliedner-Heim". From here it is only a few minutes' walk to the exhibition grounds.

The way to the Westfalenhallen is signposted at the named stops. All stops listed above are handicapped accessible.

AirportExpress to the Messe Westfalenhallen Dortmund

The bus shuttle service is available at the fairs BEST OF EVENTS, JAGD & HUND, INTERMODELLBAU and InterTabac and is available all day. Please refer to the timetables for travel times.

The stops for the AirportExpress are located at the airport directly next to the main entrances to the departure hall and at the trade fair in the immediate vicinity of the trade fair grounds on the B1.

The fare is 8.50 euros for adults and 2.00 euros for children under 15. Children under the age of 6 travel free of charge. Tickets are sold in the vehicle.
